Is there an application fee?

Our application fee amount is $50 per adult applicant (non-refundable).

What happens if I need to move out before my lease expires?

We do have a break lease option. We require an amount equal to 2 month rent plus a sixty-day written notice with rent due during those 60 days.

Are there any fees associated with moving out?

The fees are outlined in your lease agreement.

Can the apartment be listed on AirBnB?

We do not permit Airbnb rentals.

What are the occupancy limits?

2 people per bedroom

Can I apply online?

How can I pay my rent? What forms of payment are acceptable?

You can pay online. Check, card, or money gram are acceptable forms of payment.

Is there a late fee for overdue payments? Is there a grace period?

We offer a grace period through the 5th of each month. On the 6th, it's an 8% late fee of the total rent due.

Is renter's insurance required?

Yes, 100,000.00 property liability is required.

How much of the security deposit is refundable?

The standard deposit is fully refundable upon move-out, depending on the charges. Security Deposit Alternative program is non-refundable.

When is rent due?

Rent is due on the first of each month.

Are utilities included?

What costs are not included in the rent?

Water, sewer, trash, gas, and pest control are billed to you but payable with your rent.

What utilities are not included in the rent?

Electric and cable/internet are paid to the provider. Water, sewer, trash, gas, and pest control are billed to you but payable with your monthly rent.

Are the apartments furnished?

No.

Are there any bed restrictions for the apartments?

No waterbeds.

Are corporate rentals available?

Yes.

Under what circumstance can a landlord terminate your lease?

Drugs, criminal activity, domestic, unauthorized occupants, destruction of property, and non-payment of rent validate a lease termination.

What fees/deposits are due upon applying?

We require a $50.00 application fee (non-refundable) and a $125.00 admin fee (non-refundable) due upon application. Security deposit and pro-rate rent are due at move-in.

Can the apartment be sublet?

We do allow lease takeovers if approved and all qualifications are met. The deposit remains with the unit in this case. Please contact the office for more details on the lease takeover process.

What are your application requirements?

We require an income three times the rent gross amount, two years of verified rental history, verified employment history, a background check, and a credit check. We offer a program to work with renters who have less-than-perfect credit. Please ask about our Security Deposit Alternative. Outstanding evictions must be dismissed, and bankruptcy must be discharged.

What is the average cost for utilities each month?

Utilities fluctuates each month. Electric depends on the size of the unit etc.

How often is there a rent increase?

We typically implement renewal increases at the time of lease renewal.

What leasing options are available?

We provide flexible lease options with terms ranging from 7 to 15 months.

How much is the security deposit?

Our standard deposit starts at $500 and can increase up to $1,500 with conditional approval. To make move-in costs more manageable, we offer a Security Deposit Alternative Program.

What are the hours for the fitness center?

The Fitness Center is open 24 hours a day.

What are the hours for the business center?

Kindly note that we do not have a business center.

What are the hours for the pool?

Monday-Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am to 9pm

What are hours of the leasing office?

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Do you have package lockers?

Yes, We have Amazon lockers.

Do you offer valet trash service?

Please be aware that we do not offer valet trash service.

What internet service options are available?

Our providers are Comcast/Xfinity

Do you offer recycling?

We provide a recycling bin on the property.

Do you have cable?

Yes, our units are cable ready.

What property amenities are included?

We offer a fitness center, indoor/outdoor pool, Amazon Lockers, and a dog park.

What is the pet policy?

Dogs and Cats are permitted. A total of two pets are allowed per household. Talus Apartments utilizes petscreening.com for all animal screening prior to move-in and renewal. A non-refundable pet fee of $300 is required per pet, and pet rent is $25 per month per pet. Pet rent is based on petscreening.com recommendations. Dog Breed Restriction List: Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Chows, Doberman Pinschers, and Akitas.

I have a noise complaint. Who do I contact?

For routine matters, please call the office to report. However, in case of a serious situation, please contact the police department.

Are there building quiet hours?

Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. During these hours, activities that may cause disturbance are prohibited.

What decorations or changes to the apartment are prohibited?

You are welcome to decorate your apartment; however, no physical alterations are allowed unless authorized by managemen

Can I smoke in my apartment?

Talus is a smoke-free building. Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings

I need emergency maintenance. Who do I call?

For assistance, please call 763-515-8586. We have a 24-hour answering service available.

Is a permit required for parking?

Yes, we require a permit.

Is parking assigned?

Surface parking spots are not assigned but garages are assigned parking.

What is the policy for guest parking?

We provide designated guest parking.

Can residents put personal grills on their patios?

Please note that grills are not allowed on the premises, as per the City of Plymouth ordinance.

Is there public transportation nearby?

Yes, the bus stops in front of the property.

Are you near any transportation routes?

Yes, the bus line.

What brand are the kitchen appliances?

GE, Frigidaire or Kenmore.

Does the apartment come with a microwave?

Yes, our units come with microwaves.

Do apartments have dishwashers?

Yes, all units are equipped with a dishwasher.

Are stoves gas or electric?

Yes, our stoves are gas.

Do kitchen sinks have a garbage disposal?

No, garbage disposals not available.

Are there in-unit washers and dryers?

Select units are equipped with hookups and washers and dryers.

Is there a bathtub or just a shower? Are they together or separate?
